Chairman for the evening, Rotarian Bob Vogt introduced our guest speaker Phillip Ross, a steam train enthusiast who showed a video he had developed of vintage steam trains.
Most of the trains he had on video operated in the Central and Mallee Regions of Victoria although he did have vision of trains operating around Korumburra and Fish Creek.
Phillip said that unfortunately he did not have any vision of trains on the Traralgon line and if anyone new of any items relating to steam in this area, he would be very grateful to hear from you.
As the video is not possible to show in this Bulletin format it is not possible to add much more in the way of a report, other than to add that his video evoked many memories amongst Members of that age of steam.
